When you are travelling in a school bus, the person sitting in front of you is at rest though the bus is moving, Why?

The state of rest and motion are dependent on the obervor.
No thing in this universe is at rest. It depends on the observor.
The person sitting in front of you appears to be at rest from your observation.
However if you will observe the person from outside the bus he will appear to be in motion.
Thus rest and motion both are relative concepts.

Because of the relativity.
According to relativity,if we are sit but seat is moving then according to us our surroundings is moving.
Example-when we sit in the train we are at rest but according to the farmer who work outside the train in field,we are in motion.On other side we think that we are at rest and farmer is moving.
