When you dissolve AgNO3 salt in water, it

When AgNO3 salt dissovles water, it conducts electricity whereas salt crystals or powder does not conduct electric current because, in salt form AgNO3 doesn't have any free electrons, and we know electric current (electric flow) is the flow of charged particles (electrons) throught a conductor.

When AgNO3 dissolves in water it forms Ag+ and NO- ions which conduct electricity as they are free now.
