when you double both the. length and breadthvof the rectangle , how many times the area becomes?

The area becomes four times the length and breath of the rectangle

Let take

First we have length of rectangle =l
Breath =b
Then area =lxb
Area =lb
Now if we double the length or breath as given
Then
Length =2l
Breath =2b

Area =2lx2b

=4lb
So area becomes 4 times
