When you enter a dark room from sunlight, you cannot see things for a while and after sometime you start seeing things. Explain this observation.

when we enter a dark room from the light ..our size of pupil is small but after a short period of time pupil becomes expand(big)then we saw the objects clearly

When we enter the room our eyes take time to see clearly in the darkness because the pupil slowly shrinks and allows maximum light to pass through in.
