  • The function of the thrombocyte to prevent the bleeding as a result of this whenever there is a cut in the hand there is bleeding and the  thrombocytes help to prevent the cut by sealing the damaged blood vessels.
  • This is done by the activation of the clotting factors which are produced by the liver and helps the platelets in in preventing bleeding.
