When you hit a piece of paper with a spoon no sound is heard. Why?​

because spoon is a metal .

and paper is a component of cellulose obtained from trees.

metal can vibrate.

where as paper is not a metal and non - metal.

and there is no space in object ( hollowness) .

when as object has hollowness in it large amount of sounds r produced.
