When you keep a vessel containing water under the sun.what will happen in the situation?

The water in vessel will eventually disappear , this means the water has evaporated because of the impact of sun and had become water vapour.

The rate of disappearing (evaporating) would depend on many factors like if the vessel is wide, it would evaporate quicker & if the sun is intense then too it will be back for it quicker or vice versa.
