when you kick a football ,it flies off, whereas you get hurt . when you kick a stone of same size. why?

It is because of mass. When you kick football it flies off but if you do the same with a stone of same size it hurts because the stone is much heavier than the football

Because stone has more mass than football, and inertia depends on mass,,, so inertia of rest of stone is so high as compared to stone,,, that's why more force is required to break the inertia of rest of stone,,, and when we apply force on stone by kikking then stone gives us reaction or opposite force (by newton's third law),, that's why we get hurt
