When you lift a box from the floor and put it on an almirah the potential energy of box increases, but there is no change in its kinetic energy. Is it a violation of conservation of energy?
explain with a suitable scientific reason.

Answer:

Explanation:

The kinetic energy is zero at only two points according to your question first when the box was on floor and second when the box is placed over almirah And ofcourse the potential energy increased due to change in it's position in a field. But there was a kinetic change when you are lifting the box.

And since potential energy is conservative energy so there is no violation.

Answer:

hi mate,

Here are ten things that millionaires do differently with their money. The work you did to lift box(energy given by you) gets stored in box as gravitational potential energy . There is no change in KE but conservation of energy is not violated.
