When you lift a box from the floor and put it on an almirah the potential energy of the box increases but there is no change in its kinetic energy. Is it violation of conservation of energy? Explain.

Law of the Conservation of the energy states that the total sum of the kinetic and the potential energy remains the constant.

Also, It states that the energy can neither be created nor be destroyed. It can only be converted into one form to another.

No, It is not the Violation of the Principle of the Conservation of the Energy.

The Energy of the system is conversed when there is no external force applied on the body.

In the Given case, External Force have done the work on the box to take it from floor to the Almirah. By doing this, The potential energy of the box has been increased and the Kinetic Energy remains the constant.

Hence, it is not the violation of the law of the conservation of the energy.

Hope it helps you.
