                                      Virtue Of Hard-work

There is no substitute for hard-work in achieving what you want to achieve. With hard-work one can achieve anything. Hard-work is power given to man by God to turn his dreams into reality.

Nicola and Jacopo in the chapter Two Gentlemen of Verona were epitomes of hard-work. In spite of being so young, they shouldered the responsibility of getting their sick sister treated. They had so many challenges in front of them; but they overcame them all. They did various menial jobs such as, selling fruit, newspapers, shoe-shining, running errands, showing the visitors Verona as guides, etc.

Anyone would feel proud of them. The narrator saw a new hope for mankind in them.
