From the chapter "two gentlemen of Verona" we see that two small kids work hard day and night to pay the hospital fees for their sister who is suffering from tuberculosis of the spine. they wanted to live a decent life of self respect and dignity. if they had wanted, they could have asked help from the author who was willing to help them but them were self dependent enough to work and earn money although there was very little work to do. if they had wanted they could also have asked for money but they wanted to earn money in a respectful manner. Although there were not grown up but they were matured beyond their age. Like them, we can also follow them and they are a role model for most of the readers as the hard work done by them is not easy for any child of their age. From this we learn that no matter what the circumstances are, we must live a decent life and earn with our own hard work and never be dependent on others.

In the day to day life we come across many children and even elder people who are begging for money although they are all right without any physical problem. If they want they can also earn a living by working and live a respectful life rather than a life of beggar. They must preserve their self respect but they are too lazy to do and so their children also follow them in the same way.
