The applied energy stored in that stone.

armaanoberoi20pc7ev3: what is the change then before f applied and after that.... stone remains same with no effect
armaanoberoi20pc7ev3: its wierd
armaanoberoi20pc7ev3: how would another prsn get that it has got more energy
armaanoberoi20pc7ev3: like that every obj has infinite energy
armaanoberoi20pc7ev3: you are not gettin what i m saying

potential energy got converted into kienetic energy but balanced by frictional and other forces

armaanoberoi20pc7ev3: so what can be said about energy? where has it gone? if not wasted... then converted to what
amrit6630: it got stored in stone
armaanoberoi20pc7ev3: please read the comments of other ans and then tell
amrit6630: the energy applied balanced at got stored in the earth's crust. For example - when you go to the petrol pump and ask for petrol in a jar, the petrol vendor says you to put the jar on the ground so that the energy releasd got stored into the earth and the didn't catch fire and the other example of this is earthing in the houses
armaanoberoi20pc7ev3: sorry for disturbing but then what does earth utilize ut for..... because stored potential energy has to be released.... just like stretched rubber........... Moreover on what basis do we calc. pot. e. of earth
