when you push a large stone and it does not move but you applied energy. you become tired and energy is utilised state the energy conversion only.

potential energy got converted into kienetic energy but balanced by frictional and other forces
so what can be said about energy? where has it gone? if not wasted... then converted to what
it got stored in stone
please read the comments of other ans and then tell
the energy applied balanced at got stored in the earth's crust. For example - when you go to the petrol pump and ask for petrol in a jar, the petrol vendor says you to put the jar on the ground so that the energy releasd got stored into the earth and the didn't catch fire and the other example of this is earthing in the houses
sorry for disturbing but then what does earth utilize ut for..... because stored potential energy has to be released.... just like stretched rubber........... Moreover on what basis do we calc. pot. e. of earth
