When you search online for pictures, how will you find pictures that are available in the free public
domain. How can those pictures be used in your project without copyright violations?

Answer:

I would search free public domain photos...

Explanation:

There are surprisingly a lot of FPD photos.

Most websites that supply these require a subscription however and this is not worth your money so the simplest way might be to draw your own depiction of the photo or just take the picture yourself if possible.

Another great (and free) source of photos are images with Creative Commons licenses.

Stock photos are photos that creators license out to anyone who is willing to pay their licensing fee.

Images appearing on social media are no different than any other image you’ll find online, in that you must act responsibly and ask for permission.
