when electricity is cut off,the fan blades do not have the energy to overcome the force of friction effected by the air molecules around them so it comes to rest

- After switching off, electricity line that connected the motor to blades is cut off and the fan blades comes to rest because to continue moving the blades need energy to control the friction caused by external air forces and dust particles around the blade.
