When you visit a historical place/monuments and saw scrrible their names and messages what do you feel

I feel extremely bad for our Indian heritage and angry on the people who do it. Why do you need to do it? You don't have paper at home. Or maybe you feel bad about how 100s of trees are being cut? Or maybe you don't have a phone in which you can type? Don't you know how foreigners keep their monuments?
In several years people would come to see the scribblings and not the monument. (you can add necessary changes).
