While writing a letter we should remember the following points :

  • First of all state the purpose of your formal letter in the 1st paragraph and suddenly don't change the subject.

  • Try to avoid complicated language or long words .

  • Be polite and respectful , even if you are complaining .

  • Once you have written your formal letter, please check the spellings and grammatical mistakes!

  • Remember that the first impression is the one that lasts. Henceforth, use proper formal as well as presentation.

The above format of formal letter is as per the new style of writing a letter. Instead of using ' to ' you can directly write ' Sir/Mam '[ With Respect ]while addressing the addressee . Most important thing while writing a letter is to remember the above points .
