=> companion cells deliver ATP , proteins and other nutrients to sieve elements . companion cells are ground tissues cells found within the phloem of flowering plants that manage the floor of Nutrition through sieve tubes .

the major function of companion cells are as follows =>

  • companion cells in the veins ab leaves function in the transfer of assimilates from photosynthetic tissues and bundle sheaths into the sieve tube .
  • Apoplastic loading , are process utilising energy is facilitated bike carrier proteins called sucrose transporter which are located in the plasma membranes of companions cells and / or Sieve tube members .

it's too long other 2 points are attached in the above clip .

hope now it's useful to you .
