Teak is the common name for the tropical hardwood tree species, Tectona grandis, which grows to over 130 feet tall. Teak is native to south and southeast Asia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Burma. Teak wood tends to be a golden or medium brown. Its color darkens over time.

teak is also known as large deciduous tree native to india, Myanmar ,laos and Thailand teak is highly tolerant of range of climate condition and can be found from very dry to very moist regions.
