ribosomes are membraneless organelles which have present freely in cytoplasm in case of prokaryotes and on rough endoplasmic reticulum in case of eukaryotes. also ribosomes are present in mitochondria as well as plastids making them semi autonomous in nature.
ribosomes are the protein factory of a cell which means that it synthesizes protein for the cell.
