  • Placenta- It is formed between the walls of uterus and the foetus during pregnancy. It helps to transfer nutrients and oxygen from the mother's blood to the foetus and waste materials from foetus into the mother's blood.
  • Thalamus- It is the swollen part of a flower to which all the floral whorls are attached.
  • Anther- It is a bulb like structure present on the tip of the filament of stamen of a flower. It produces and stores pollen grains which contain two male gammet
  • Stigma- It is present at the tip of style of the pistol in a flower. It receives pollen grains from anther during pollination. It secretes a sugary substance which stimulates the pollen grain to grow a pollen tube towards ovary.
