if you want laterite soil nearly found in manipur then it is Meghalaya ....

laterite soils in India are found in the Eastern ghat of orissa, the southern part of western ghat,Malabar coastal plains and Ratnagiri of maharashtra and some parts of arunachal pradesh,Tamil Nadu, Karnataka , Meghalaya,western part of west Bengal.....But not in manipur.......I think
