The protons and oxygen formed during photosynthesis and are released out.

But their release is not from the similar place.

The protons thus formed during photosynthesis are released in lumen which is the space present in thylakoid discs of chloroplast.

The oxygen thus formed during photosynthesis are released outside of the membrane.
