Where are the sperm heads found embedded to survive after spermatogenesis?

after the process of spermatogenesis, the sperm heads are embedded in sertoli cells which provide nutrition to them until they undergo the process of spermiogenesis. after this process the detach from sertoli cells and exist as spermatids which on mensuration are known as spermatozoa or sperms.
