●Andaman and Nicobar island

●Western ghats

●Coastline of peninsular region

●Greater Assam region in north-east

tropical rainforest are those forest which receives rainfall through out the year.

It generally receives rainfall over 200cm annually. so because the climate there is water and humid. The vegetation are found in multilayerd structure. The trees grow very high upto 60cm.

In India it is found is some parts of Western ghats, two groups of islands (andamancobar and lakshwadeep), Tamil nadu, some parts of Andhra Pradesh, some parts of Assam.
