The consumer can go to the consumer court or formally known as The National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC). It is India's quasi-judicial commission  which was set up in 1988 under the Consumer Protection Act of 1986 for protection of the rights of the Indian consumers.

Consumers have the right to seek redressal against unfair trade practices and exploitation in the consumer court. For this, the District Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission has been set up on the district level, State Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission has been set up on the state level and National  Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission has been set up on the national level to get justice. Any damage is done to any consumer, he or she has the right to get the compensation depending on the degree of damage.
