Griffin was a scientist who made a lot of experiments and finally engulfed several drugs and made himself (his human body) invisible but as solid as . He hated his landlord and so after he become transparent he burnt the landlord's house. Later on he was wandering in the crowded streets of London and got caught in some problems so he decided to go to a silent place. And before going anywhere he went to a theatrical world & robbed a shop, he also got dressed up like a man and became visible. So when he was about to stay in an inn he met the landlord's wife Mrs.Hall.

Griffin was indeed am eccentric scientists and did not use his invention for good. He robbed people, fired the landlord's house and a lot more. He also acted very strange and unusual. He always used to shut his room and got furious when someone came. Also he had a very unusual outfit and a harsh behaviour towards others.
