Nicola and Jacopo were the two boys in the story "Two Gentlemen of Verona".

Every Sunday, the boys went to Poleta, a place which is 30 kilometers away from their place. They had a sister named Lucia and she had been ailing from spine tuberculosis.

They had admitted her in a hospital in Poleta for the treatment and they went to meet their sister every Sunday and paid the fee for the treatment given there.
