In Ahmedabad, The first ODI (One Day International) Match was played in India.

In 1981, The 1st ODI  was played in India at Sardar Valabhbhai Patel Stadium of Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

In December of 1933, The first international match played in India at Gymkhana Ground of Bombay. That was the Test which played between England and India.
