Modern human beings originate in europe, africa and asia. The two theories related to it are replacememt model and regional continuity model.

The replacement model can be explain as follows:-

(i)The replacement model visualises the complete replacement everywhere of older forms of humans with modern humans.

(ii) The people start migrating to the places where resources are easily available

(iii) The evidence of the genetic and anatomical homogeneity of modern humans. The evidence of the earliest fossils of modern humans also supports the replacement model.

The regional continuity model can be explain as follows :-

(i) According to the regional continuity model the archaic Homo sapiens in different regions gradually evolved at different rates into modern humans, and hence the variation in the first appearance of modern humans in different parts of the world

(ii) The people migrate at different rates according to the resources

(iii) These dissimilarities are due to differences between the pre-existing Homo erectus and Homo heidelbergensis populations that occupied the same regions.
