where did water first come from?

Water has almost no true origin. Most scientists have agreed that after the earth was formed, meteorites, with content of Hydrogen and Oxygen, exploded in the Earth's atmosphere and thus water was formed. Bigger and Greater Meteorite Showers resulted in larger masses of water.

Water still exists because of the water cycle. Rain are the major sources of water.
