amoeba digest their food in the same cell because it is an single celled organism and don't have specialized tissues to do the process of digestion..

In animal food is digested in the full value by digestive enzymes. the enzymes from the surrounding cytoplasm enter into the food had your lunch break down the food into small and soluble molecule by chemical reaction. does digestion in Amoeba take place inside the food vacuole due to which the food dissolve.
