Usually Buddhism have no typical structure of temple type places where one can go to worship their leader...
But generally they used to sat under s tree and opted lectures from there,, so the trees where Buddha used to sit was suitable place for worship..
Otherwise ,, they used to formed stupas on memory of Buddhism and Buddha's wisdom where they can go for prayer...

Buddhist worship at home or at a temple. Worshippers may sit on the floor barefoot facing an image of Buddha and chanting. It is very important that their feet face away from the image of Buddha. They listen to monks chanting from religious texts and take part in prayers
