The eggs have a limited life, and if not fertilized, they are recycled. Nothing unique about the tubal ligation. This happens with every egg that is not fertilized every month and the eggs produced by the ovaries are reabsorbed into the body like any other cell, or they disintegrate in the tube, or in some cases in the space surrounding the tube and uterus (peritoneal cavity). During menstrual flow only the lining of the uterus comes out not the egg.
