3. chloroplast

in plastids , chloroplast is responsible for photosynthesis process .

Some cells contain green pigments which are cell organelle called chloroplast which contain chlorophyll.

chloroplast : They are disc-shaped plastids containing green coloured pigment called chlorophyll . They contain carotenoids . They are mostly found in exposed (to light )parts of a plant i.e chloroplast traps solar energy and absorb carbon dioxide for the manufacture of food during photosynthesis .Chloroplast contain DNA and have the capacity to divide .
