The mass of the body remains same everywhere, it doesn't matter wherever the body is placed, whether on earth or on moon.
The quantity which differs in different places/planets (to be exact) is Weight. Weight of the body differs only due to the difference in the value of g. The value of g on moon is almost 1/6th of the value of g on earth and so the weight of the body on moon is less than the weight of the same body on earth.
Cheers!
