When a beam of parallel light is incident on a smooth plane surface , the reflected rays will also be parallel. This type of reflection is called regular reflection.

Examples:

Seeing our image in a plane mirror.
Our shoes appear shiny after polishing.
Formation of reflections in water.
The different colours of flowers, birds etc are a result of reflection of light (different colours) .
