Compressibility is mainly a physical characteristics of any substance, where we reduce it's volume by increasing the pressure on it.(especially in cases of gaseous substances)

Real life examples:

1)LPG gas : We fill these cylinders with the fuel gas in a high pressure, that's why the gas is stored as a liquid inside the cylinder.

2)Coke:We fill coke bottles with high pressure carbon dioxide,to make the fizz in the soft drink.
