The sun's rays will be direct on Andaman and Nicobar Islands because it lies in tropical zone i.e. more closer to equater than J&K which lies in subtropical zone and as we know sun's rays fall directly at tropics than at sub tropical zone.

• Since the Great Nicobar Islands are situated in the tropical zone, thus they are closer to the equator.
