Our liver is actually responsible for digestion. Some arteries are connected from the liver to the small intestine. Bile juice is secreted by liver which is transported to small intestine and thus, it break fats into glycerol and fatty acids. These are again absorbed by the blood arteries and blood vessels present in the villi of the small intestine and transported to different parts of the body through the blood.
