Fertilisation happens in the Fallopian tube of a human female, when the nucleus of egg and sperm, fuse together to form a Zygote. Thefertilised egg – also called a Blastocyst, continues to divide as it passes gradually from the fallopian tube to the uterus, where it attaches tothe wall or the endometrium.
