fertilization : is the fusing of the male germ cell and the female germ cell
this takes in the fallopian tube or the oviduct of the females body.
the zygote formed is implanted in the uterus or the womb.
the zygote develops rapidly ( or we can say multiplies) and an umbilical cord develops during the gestation period that provides nutrition and gets rids of the waste products of the embryo.
the baby is born roughly after a period of 9 months.

Hey mate!!!
fertilisation occurs in ampulla- isthmus junction of fallopian tube .
after that, miotic division starts as the zygote moves through the isthmus of the oviduct called cleavage towards the uterus and forms 2,4,8,16 daughter cell called blastomers than morula.
