It takes place in the chloroplast . In the stroma and the thylakoidal membrane. There are two types of photosynthesis, dark reaction And light reaction.

Whoooo: to be precise the photosynthesis takes place in the leaf where the chlorophyll traps the sunlight and the further process happens in the mesophyll cells
