digestion of proteins occurs in stomach and small intestine mainly with the help of enzymes secreted by our pancreas. component of gastric juice which is pepsin breakdown the larger molecule of protein into peptides,pancreatic digestive enzymes trypsin, chymotrypsin and carboxypeptidase, secreted by your pancreatic cells, empty into our small intestine and digestive enzyme
