Ribosomes help in protein synthesis inside the cell so, these are known as protein factory of the cell.

These are dense round granules that are founded on outer surface of Endoplasmic Reticulum, mitochondria and chloroplast. These are found freely flouting in prokaryotic cells, but in eukaryotic cells , these are free or attached on RER. Ribosomes contain RNA and proteins.
