stimulus occur when there is a change in the external environment n the nervous system is able to react towards it....
for example, touching a hot plate is a change in the external environment due to which, our nervous system reacts sends electric signals to the effected body part to avoid any damage...
this is also sent to the brain so that the brain remembers this n helps in case the stimulus is repeated again....
