Taste is just one of the senses that contributes to flavor.

Answer: In human body there is/are no special organ or enzyme which add flavour to food.

But this is how it works :- while chewing your food it breaks down into small peptide molecule or small protein molecules. Now there are small dumpy buds which are known as papillae, which are nothing but taste buds( 1papilon=100 tastebuds)

This taste bud senses the taste. This is how it works.

Example is when you eat chilly, the burning sensation is due to stimulation of pain receptors.

Hope it helps you.
