hey mate.......

here is the answer.......

Hydrochloric Acid (HCl) is produced by the stomach and has the job of breaking down proteins. If you make plenty of HCl, then the body can adequately digest protein. If not, protein digestion is compromised.

hope it would be helpful........

HCl (Hydrochloric acid) is been secreted in the stomach of out body. It gives an acidic medium (in stomach) for the food that we eat so that it facilitates the action of the enzyme pepsin. Pepsin helps in breaking down proteins from food.

You may ask... We know that HCl is very dangerous fluid and it may burn our hand if we touch it. How it doesn't harm stomach... That's very good question..

There is an enzyme called Mucus which gives a outer lining to the stomach. It prevents the stomach from being affected from the corrosiveness of HCl.

When we eat more we may feel acidity. It is because of HCl. It is secreted more to digest all the food that u eat. Baking soda is a good remedy for that.

You may have heard about Ulcer.. This one is also because of HCl. When we skip eating, the food is not going to stomach but HCl is secreted as usual...
So when there is no food in stomach.. It corrodes the parts of stomach, which makes us feel more pain in stomach when we suffer from ulcer.

I hope this detailed description helps you.
