Where does the name India come from?
a. Surely some "Britisher" came up with this name. Our country was called Hindustan.
b. It was Nehru Gandhi who suggested the name after her daughter Indira was born.
c. I think it's derived from Indus Valley Civilization aka the Harappan Civilization.
