River Sutlej has four important tributaries, namely Baspa, Spiti, Nogli Khad and Soan.
River Baspa enters Shimla district near Chauhra, as it leaves Kinnaur district on the western side.
Nogan Khad enters Kullu district very close to Rampur Tehsil of Shimla district.
However, River Sutlej flows at a distance of 21 Km away from the capital city of Shimla.
